As an entry level assembly tech you will be assembling smaller equipment along with heavy equipment. Assembly techs work in a small team and will be attaching tires, loaders, backhoes, buckets etc. to the equipment, along with dealing with some of the wiring. 

Principal activities

• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Forklift use to move equipment in crates 
• Use of power tools
• Moving equipment around
• Occasional computer use

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Organization skills
• Problem solving
• Ability to read written instructions and correctly follow directions
• Ability to pass a drug test

Experience assembling lawn and garden equipment, tractors, RTV’s etc. is helpful.
Having a mechanical background is a plus. 

As a Service Tech you need to diagnose, service and repair agricultural equipment, at Linn Benton Tractor we are a dealer for Kubota, Great Plains, LandPride, MacDon, Vermeer and Krone. Service techs also go off site at times to repair customer equipment.

Employee Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with other store employees
• Repair/service all equipment sold in the store, as well as other equipment.
• Prepare necessary/required parts list and submit for ordering.
• Effectively utilize computer programs.
• And all other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Operate Company Service Truck
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Drivers license
• This position is very active, requires standing, walking, and bending.
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
